Delete and restore files

Deleted files are sent to the trash and can be restored.

Delete a file or folder

Via context menu

  1. Right click on the item
  2. Select Delete
  3. The item is sent to the trash

Via toolbar

  1. Select one or more items
  2. Click on the Delete button in the toolbar

Note: Deletion is “soft”: your files are not permanently erased. They are moved to the trash.

Delete multiple files at once

  1. Select the files to delete (see Multiple Selection)
  2. Click on Delete in the toolbar
  3. All selected items are sent to the trash

Access the trash

Click on Trash in the left sidebar. You will find all your deleted items there with the date of deletion.

Restore a file

  1. Go to the Trash
  2. Select the file(s) to restore
  3. Click on the Restore button
  4. Files will return to their original location

Restore multiple files

  1. Select the desired files in the trash
  2. Click on Restore in the toolbar
  3. All selected items are restored
