Duplicate an article

Duplication creates a complete copy of your article with all its content.

  1. From the editor, click on the Duplicate button in the header.
  2. A dialog box opens. If the article is published on Butterfly, a warning informs you that the publication is not copied.
  3. Enter the name of the new article.
  4. Click on Duplicate.
  5. You are redirected to the new article.

What is copied:

  • All content blocks (text, media, tables, etc.)
  • SEO settings (keyphrase, keywords, questions, goals)
  • The SEO title and description

What is not copied:

  • Revision history
  • Association with Butterfly (the publication must be reconfigured)
  • Sharing rights
