The Editorial Brief
The editorial brief is your dashboard for setting your article's SEO goals. It includes the keyphrase, secondary keywords, questions to address, and numerical goals.
Access the Editorial Brief
The editorial brief can be accessed from the editor's sidebar. It consists of two tabs:
- Settings: configuration of goals and keywords.
- Optimizations: track progress towards your goals.
Settings tab
Brief notes
A free text field for noting editorial guidelines, context, or writing instructions. These notes are saved with the article.
Keyphrase
The keyphrase is the main term you want your article to rank for in search engines.
How to define it:
- Enter your keyphrase in the designated field.
- The keyphrase is automatically used by the SEO evaluation system to check its presence in the title, description, introduction, subtitles, and body text.
If you add your first keyword without defining a keyphrase, it is automatically promoted to keyphrase.
Secondary keywords
Secondary keywords enhance the semantic range of your article.
How to manage them:
- Enter a keyword and press Enter to add it.
- Click the cross next to a keyword to delete it.
- The system checks the presence of each keyword in your content and displays a usage indicator.
The keyphrase cannot be deleted from the keyword list; it must be modified directly in its field.
Questions
List the questions your article should answer. This helps you structure your content and target search queries in question form.
How to Manage Them:
- Enter a question and press Enter to add it.
- Click the cross to delete a question.
- The FAQ blocks in your article are automatically linked to the questions listed here.

Set numerical targets to guide your writing:
| Goal | Description |

- Recognized transition words.
- Idea search
Optimizations tab
This tab displays a visual dashboard of your progress:
- For each numerical goal, a progress bar indicates your status relative to your target.
- Indicators turn green when the goal is reached or exceeded.
