The search for ideas

Enodo Semantic integrates a keyword and idea research tool directly into the editorial brief. It allows you to discover related terms, frequently asked questions, and search trends to enhance your content strategy.

Accessing idea search

  1. Open the editorial brief from the sidebar.
  2. The Ideas section is available in the Settings tab.
  3. Enter a search term in the designated field.

Search results

After a search, you obtain a main term with its search volume (displayed in abbreviated notation: K for thousands, M for millions).

The results are organized into three tabs:

Suggestions

Keywords suggested by the search engine linked to your term. These are variations and extensions of your initial query.

Associated

Three categories of associated terms:

  • Associated terms: semantically related keywords.
  • Rising Queries: terms whose popularity is growing rapidly.
  • Top Queries: the most searched terms in this topic.

Questions

The questions that users ask in relation to your term. These questions are valuable for:

  • Creating FAQ blocks in your article.
  • Structuring your subtitles in the form of questions.
  • Targeting Google's featured snippets.

Best practices

  • Start Broad: search for your main topic, then refine with more specific terms.
  • Target Questions: user questions are opportunities for featured snippets.
  • Monitor Trends: rising queries indicate emerging topics to cover quickly.
  • Balance Volume: combine high-volume terms (high competition) and long-tail terms (easier to rank for).
  • Integrate Naturally: add the selected keywords to your brief, then ensure to use them seamlessly in your text.
