Authors
Authors represent the people or organizations credited for writing your content. A post can have one or multiple authors.
Note: This section is reserved for administrators.
Access the authors
Go to the Administration section in the sidebar and then click on Authors.
Create an author
- Click on Create an author
- Fill in the profile information (see table below)
- Save

Modify or delete an author
- Modify: Click on an existing author to edit their profile
- Delete: Click on the delete icon
Assign authors to a post
When creating or editing a post, use the Author(s) field to associate one or more authors. This information is useful for editorial attribution and can be displayed on your site.
Tip: Authors are different from users. An author is a public profile (byline), while a user is an account with access to Butterfly.
