Users

User management allows you to control who has access to your Butterfly property and with what rights.

Note: This section is reserved for administrators.

Access users

Navigate to the Administration section of the sidebar, then click on Users.

Roles

RoleAccess
EditorCreate, edit, and manage posts and media
AdministratorFull access: settings, users, plugins, configuration

Add an user

  1. Click on Add a User
  2. Enter the user's email address
  3. Select the role to assign
  4. Save

Edit or remove an user

  • Edit: Click on a user to change their role
  • Remove: Click on the delete icon to revoke access

Assign users to a post

Users can be assigned to posts for easier collaboration. When creating or editing a post, use the User(s) field to associate team members.

Tip: Use the Mine filter in the publication management to quickly find the posts assigned to you.
