Settings
Settings allow you to configure the general information of your Butterfly property: name, language, time zone, and site metadata.
Note: This section is reserved for administrators.
Accessing the settings
Go to the Administration section of the sidebar, then click on Settings.
General settings

| Account name | Name of your property |
| Site title | Displayed title for your website |
| Site description | General description of your site |
| Primary language | Default language of your property |
| Time zone | Time zone used for dates and publications |
Modifying the settings
- Edit the desired fields
- Click on Save to apply the changes
Custom settings
In addition to general settings, you can define custom settings at the level of your property. These flexible metadata can be utilized by your site or front-end application.
Tip: Properly set your time zone so that the publication dates of your posts are consistent with your audience.
